The sixth branch is referred to as ENT oncology that deals with tumours and malignancies in the head and neck areas. It takes 5 years for one to finish in an otorhinolaryngology residency programme in Singapore and the bulk of what needs to be studied in a span of 5 years is indeed tremendous.
